Terms of Service

We produce interactive 3D Gaussian splat reconstructions of architectural spaces. For spaces not yet constructed these are built from client-supplied models or renders, or from 3D models and visualisations we produce ourselves from your drawings. For spaces that exist they are built from photogrammetric capture on site. The result is delivered either as a hosted embed or as a standalone file.

Each engagement is defined by a written quotation. Where these terms conflict with a signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails.

Where we work from material you supply, you confirm that you hold the rights to that model, drawing or render, and may license it to us for the purpose of producing the reconstruction.

Where we capture on site, you confirm that you own the property or have the authority of the owner to permit it, and that you have obtained any consent required from occupants.

For on-site work you agree to provide safe access at the scheduled time. Where access is refused or the space is not ready, a revisit may be chargeable.

On payment in full you receive the finished capture, and a perpetual licence to use it for marketing and presentation of the property.

Where we produce a 3D model or visualisation as part of an engagement, ownership of that model passes to you on payment in full, together with the finished reconstruction.

We retain ownership of our tools, our processing pipeline and any general-purpose assets used across projects. Nothing in an engagement transfers rights in those.

Where we host an embed on your behalf we aim for continuous availability, but do not warrant uninterrupted service. Where you have taken the standalone file, hosting is your responsibility.

Our aggregate liability in connection with an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost opportunity.

Gateway Studio is desktop software for Windows that turns phone video or photographs, or a product photograph, into textured 3D models. It is sold by NOTPNG PRIVATE LIMITED (GSTIN 18AAKCN5287H1ZX), trading as Gateway Labs, to customers in India only.

The sections headed Gateway Studio, together with the governing law section, apply to the software and to trials of it. The other sections apply only to our capture service.

By buying a licence, or by installing or using the software, you accept the Gateway Studio sections of these terms.

A licence is bought once, for ₹3,00,000 plus GST at 18%. It lets you use Gateway Studio on two computers at a time, and includes one year of new versions and support from the date of purchase.

After that year, a yearly update plan brings new versions and support for ₹9,999 plus GST. The plan is optional. If you do not renew, the versions you have already received keep working indefinitely; only new versions and support stop. Renewing adds a year from the day your current year ends, or from the day you renew if it has already ended.

You can move a licence from one computer to another. Choose Remove from this computer in the app to free its place, then enter your key on the new computer. If the old computer is lost or no longer works, write to [email protected] and we will free it for you.

Payment is made online through Razorpay, by card, netbanking, UPI (within UPI's transaction limits) or EMI.

A coupon, where we offer one, reduces the price before GST is added. We issue a GST invoice for every purchase, in your company's name if you give us its GSTIN. A link to it appears on screen after you pay and in the email with your licence key; you can print it or save it as a PDF.

The licence is for your own use, or your firm's where the firm bought it. It may not be transferred to another business without our written consent.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, except as far as the law expressly allows; work around or interfere with its licence checks; use or share a key beyond the two computers it covers; or resell, rent, lend or sublicense the software.

We keep all rights in the software itself. The licence gives you the right to use it, not ownership of it.

Gateway Studio includes third-party components, each provided under its own licence. They are listed in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES file installed with the app, and those licences govern those components.

You own the models you make with Gateway Studio. They are made on your computer from your own videos and photographs, which we never receive, and we claim no rights in any of them.

Activating a licence needs an internet connection once. After that the software works offline, and refreshes the licence whenever the computer is online, so that renewals and moves between computers take effect.

We may revoke a licence if its payment is reversed through a chargeback, if the purchase is refunded, if it is not paid for, or if it is misused — for example, if the key is used on more than the two computers it covers. A revoked licence stops working on every computer.

We offer trials only at our discretion, and may stop offering them at any time. A trial is free.

To ask for one, use the request form in the app and give your name, email address, mobile number and company. We approve or decline each request.

An approved trial lasts the period we set, typically 7 days, and works on one computer. During it you can make and view models, but not download them. Models made in a trial unlock for download once you enter a licence key on that computer.

A trial must connect to the internet at least once every 2 days. If it has not, it pauses until it connects again. A trial is subject to the same conditions of use as a licence.

Gateway Studio builds models from what the camera saw. Glass, mirrors and plain white walls can come out incomplete, and surfaces the camera never saw have to be guessed. Check a model against a second known measurement before you rely on it for fabrication.

Our aggregate liability in connection with Gateway Studio is limited to the fees you have paid for the licence concerned and its update plans. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost opportunity or lost work.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Guwahati, Assam have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
