Privacy Policy

When you contact us, by email or through an enquiry form on this site, we receive what you send: your name, email address, mobile number, company, city, and details of the property you would like captured or of how you would use Gateway Studio. An enquiry sent through a form is stored on our systems and emailed to us, and a copy is emailed to you. To stop automated abuse of the forms we keep a one-way hash of your internet address for the day; it cannot be turned back into the address.

Apart from this and the purchase details described under Gateway Studio below, we collect nothing through this site. There is no advertising network and no behavioural profiling.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and pages requested. These are used to keep the site available and secure.

A capture necessarily records the interior of a property, including belongings visible at the time of the shoot. We ask that you remove anything you would not want reproduced before we arrive. On request we will remove or obscure identifiable material from the final reconstruction.

Captures are not published, resold, or used in our portfolio without your written permission.

To respond to your enquiry, to schedule and deliver a capture, to invoice you, and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we share it only with service providers who host our infrastructure, deliver our email or process payments on our behalf.

Enquiry correspondence is kept while a prospective engagement is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Financial records are kept for the period required under applicable Indian tax law. Capture files are retained for the term agreed in your engagement, and deleted on request thereafter.

If you apply for a role, we receive your CV, your video and anything else you send. We use them only to consider your application, and share them with no one outside the company. We delete them within 12 months of the role being filled, unless you ask us to keep them for future roles.

Gateway Studio, our desktop software, does all of its processing on your own computer. The videos, photographs, scans and models you work with stay there. They are never uploaded to us, and we cannot see them.

The app connects to us only for your licence or trial, and sends only what is set out below.

To activate, refresh or move a licence, the app sends us your licence key and a one-way hash of the computer's Windows installation ID. The hash lets us tell your computers apart. It cannot be turned back into the original ID, and it is not personal information. Activating also sends the computer's name and the app's version, so each computer on your licence can be recognised.

To ask for a trial, the app sends the name, email address, mobile number and company you enter, the same computer details, and the computer's graphics card (with its video memory), installed memory and Windows version, so that we can see whether Gateway Studio will run on it.

Our servers also see the internet address each request comes from. It is used only to keep the service working and secure.

When you buy a licence or renew an update plan on this site, you give us your name, email address, mobile number, billing address and state, and, if you choose, your company and GSTIN. We use them to issue your licence key and your GST invoice; your state is the place of supply on the invoice.

Payment is handled by Razorpay. Your card, bank or UPI details go to Razorpay, not to us, and we never see your card number. Razorpay tells us whether the payment succeeded and gives us its payment ID. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to what you give it.

We use this information to activate and check licences, to keep each licence to its two computers, to decide on trial requests, to issue invoices, to answer support requests, and to write to you about your licence, trial or update plan.

Emails — your licence key, and notices about your licence or trial — are sent through a transactional email provider, which receives your email address and the message in order to deliver it. Apart from Razorpay and that provider, we share this information only with the services that host our systems. We do not sell it.

Licence and activation records are kept for as long as the licence exists, since it does not expire. Purchase records are kept for the period required under applicable Indian tax law. Trial requests are kept for a reasonable period after the trial ends or the request is declined.

Gateway Labs is operated by NOTPNG PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U62011AS2025PTC028320), whose principal place of business is Gmc, Beltola Road, Kalita Kerakuchi, Guwahati, Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam 781028, India. That company is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.
